Most Motos on these streets

MOST MOTOS

  This is the place in the world that I've traveled, where there are the MOST MOTOS on the streets and roads!  By "Motos" I am referring to all of these vehicles which are: motorcycles, Motorbikes, Scooters, Mopeds, E-Bicycles, etc. 

I've been to a lot of places in my travels and this has the highest concentration of motorcycles of anywhere.  Too many?  Well, I had to join them.  Why?  Because of the cost factor.  You can't afford a car here... if it's not in your budget, then consider a MOTO. 

The disadvantage is the much greater and more possible danger of it all.  the risk of accident, the danger to life and limb (as they say)

Learning the language | Espanol

humans have so many different languages.  So if we travel, we come across these different... verbal conventions. We gotta learn how to speak to the locals.

Dancing is a big activity

 It's very popular, the dancing in these parts of the world.  I would say, more popular than it is in USA.  There is surely dancing in USA, but it is different. It is kinda more free-flow. The USA has more freedom and experimentation.

So in South America, or if you prefer, Latin America, the dancing is more traditional.  It is structured. and they dance in a more serious way, as to what the activity means.  In USa, it's become just another thing to do.  It has no structure or tradition.  I mean, there is some, there are always exceptions.

Climbing El Penon | Victory!

 What a climb!! I thought it would be difficult and strenuous. And it did not disappoint. 

 FIRST - this is what you observe, the area at the base of the Rock.  What it looks like, with the facilities, restaurants, and it a land of rolling hills and waterways.  It is predominated nowadays by a vast reservoir - which is water for nearby Municipalities. . 

Ecuador status

 What a beautiful land.  What else is going on in the Ecuador?  Sector of the equator on planet Earth.    It is political! but Nooooo!!  We try to get away from that B.S.

Tour of Tourist Barrio, Ritzy sector

So I grabbed a taxi to the more touristy barrio (far from where I live)

Arte Market in Parque (flea market) at Catedral Municipio

    This is a good location to visit, if you want to check-out a lot of interesting stuff. Mucho cosas.  The periodic market is an event held every other Saturday of the month, starting on the first Saturday. It is next to the Catedral Municipio - or at its front yard. 

 

Food is cheaper

 As we already established the fact.  Food is cheaper (and the other factor is that the Dollar is still stronger) So those two things combined, make for a good advantage.  Food is a basic in life and survival. it is daily, it is practical and logical. It is reality. So when you look at the reality, it makes sense to be here instead.

Now the question arises of the future prospects, the long-term. What will happen when the Dollah is crashing?  That may occur overnight, quite suddenly.  The smart response, convert before that happens, to some silver and gold.

Museo ARTe and Historia

 What a cultural experience.  It is a fine institution.  I was glad to start to examine the contents of their collection.  Need more time to observe all of it. Another visit is hoped for....

Does this mean, I am going to trek over there?  Well I would love to.  but can I afford it? afford the time, or the money?? Maybe not, Pete (as PROCOPIO SAYS)  In the ideal world, I would be able to do it.  It is actually and truthfully, one of the best regions.  it is very very rugged and undeveloped. and will never be developed, is my prediction. and vow! mwuahaha.

Here is the basics of this "country".  I will tell you, it is well-defended land.  Essentially, if you fly-in, you get to the center.  That's where most people happen to live, those sheeple (as you find them grazing all over the world in clustered groupings, the flock of sheeple)

From that central starting pint, there are three directions you can head out.  I am not going to tell you... secret.  But this website details one of those directions into a region which is paradise, but not my priority or capability right now.

From Astronomy P-O-V {is there FLAT EARTH?}

 From the point-of-view, sky Sun Moon watching, positioning! As you may know, I've studied Astronomy in-depth.  Along with Geography, Physics, Mythology, interdisciplinary (Tasciotti, P.E.)  LATITUDE OF THE SUN'S ZENITH

    I was elated to find out, by my observations, during this travel ---  my crossing under and to the other side of the LATITUDE OF THE SUN'S ZENITH.  I am to the South of it! Very exciting!  Also, this obviously includes the LATITUDE OF THE MOON'S ZENITH, which is more variable.  and the thing is with the Moon, sometimes it will cross to my South, even here.

   All of this is elementary/basic science, so it's not so much of a discovery, as it is AN EXPERIENCE in real-life!

    I first noticed it and made a Unique documentary video - watch that here!!!  This is Science at its best, the real deal.

Tourism Hiking up Hill, to Historic Site

        Hiking, walk the walk, for exercise and fun.  Here's a series of video clips I made while on my Day to the historic site.  I was alone and determined to enjoy that hard fact.  Because if you don't, eventually you would get d e p r e ss e d.  That's not allowed to happen. I had a great time.  With a crowd of other tourists. which is not typical of my habits.  I am not really a tourist.  You know, when I travel, I just transform into a "local".
